Verdict
The Hannon yard has won this with the likes of Canford Cliffs and Strong Suit in recent years and also Championship last season. Jockey bookings suggest Silver Quay is preferred to Among Angels but the yard also run the Al Shaqab-owned ALEDAID. A half-brother to a couple of winners, he's entered in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes and may be the one to concentrate on. Adaay was purchased for 240,000gns at last month's sales in Ireland and Paul Hanagan prefers the half-brother to five winners over Mustadeem. Dutch Portait and Red Tornado represent stables that have won this contest in recent times with Kodi Bear and Captain Marmalade others to note in the betting.
