DAISY'S GIFT is making her debut over fences at an advanced age but she hasn't had much racing and beat her useful stable companion Whiteout in a Listed hurdle at Gowran in October before breaking a blood vessel next time. She's taken to make her allowance count though another mare, Carole Rose, made a very promising start over fences behind Duckweed at Down Royal. Full Cry has been well supported in all four starts over the bigger obstacles and though unable to get his head in front he's come up against useful rivals and should be winning soon. As De Ferbet was odds-on when runner-up in this last year then ran a fine race at the Galway Festival but he's disappointed so far this campaign. Winning bumper Kilclispeen looks a real staying type who hasn't run since landing a maiden hurdle at Downpatrick in August but is unlikely to fail through lack of fitness.
