BRIDESWELL LAD (NAP) was in tremendous form over fences in the spring, landing a Grade B handicap at Punchestown to complete a double. He reverts to hurdles on a 31lb lower mark so will be very difficult to beat. The veteran Dorans River was winning for the first time since 2019 when successful over the course and distance last month and scored from much higher marks in his younger days. Pearlofflorida takes a huge step-up in trip after landing a 2m1f Sligo maiden though has won between the flags while Ranger Billy got off the mark here last month though had earlier been only fourth behind More Info and Tuff Days on the track and the winner would have gone close at Wexford next time but for a bad mistake at the last.
