In depth

Verdict

Bowtie showed nothing in his first three starts which is why he was a 150/1 chance here last time but he belied his odds with a cracking effort behind the long odds-on Minella Cocooner. Bravo Buddy, a winning point-to-pointer, had shown ability in the UK and made a promising start for new connections at Tramore. Florey Spud's second at Gowran last July puts him in the frame and he didn't appear to handle soft ground when well beaten at Listowel in September. Emmet Mullins has a fine record with the few runners he has in these races so LAHINCH THREE could be the one to beat though the market should prove the best guide with Bamileke Des Noes another to keep an eye on.
