Verdict
METICULOUS lost his maiden tag over hurdles with an impressive display at Cork and, with his stable in outstanding form, he can follow up despite having to concede weight all round. Shanavoun Lady landed a course and distance maiden in good style before running over fences on a return visit while Face The Odds scored over fences at Tipperary before a decent effort in a Punchestown handicap back over timber. Wrong Direction, a dual point-to-point winner, won a maiden hunter chase in April and was having his first run over hurdles when fourth over a trip too short at Punchestown.
