Notorious Villain did better when dropped to 2m at Tipperary while Oiche Maith ran reasonably well over the course and distance last month. This looks a question of whether REAL MAN OF WAR (NAP) will stay the trip as his overall form is superior to that of these rivals. He finished a close second in a point-to-point in December so should have few problems and looks the one to be on. Supreme Vinnie looked a certain future winner when beaten a neck by the long odds-on Tempest Missile over this track and trip in July but he ran poorly at Cork a month ago.
