Gimli's Rock is the only course and distance winner in the line-up but has been out of form and was well beaten in the race last year. The once useful staying hurdler Muirhead hasn't run over timber for a very long time but Seefood looked a promising chaser when scoring here last month. He was attempting to concede 7lb to Clara Mc Cloud when beaten 3l at Roscommon and is no better off and the winner probably has more scope. After landing a novice hurdle at Galway when Draycott Place was 10l behind, DESERTMORE STREAM started favourite for a tough handicap at Killarney but couldn't quite get to the leaders after being held up. This longer trip looks in his favour and he's handed the vote. The last time Golden Wonder ran over hurdles he landed a maiden by 8l and has subsequently performed at a high level over fences. With plenty of allowances he could provide the main threat in an interesting race.
