In depth

Verdict

Russian Soldier is probably best of those with experience though was beaten a long way at Limerick and this is best left to a newcomer with MID DAY GUN fitting the bill. Willie Mullins' charge is a half-brother to a winning bumper and out of a mare who was useful in this sphere so has the credentials to make a successful debut. Kerry Dawn has a chaser's pedigree and the ground could prove a bit quick but the filly Gotthenod has some pace in her pedigree and could be the one to chase home the selection.
