Another trappy contest and several of these have something to prove, including the fillies Sandy Lady, Grey Pearl and the first-time blinkered Frieda Kahlo. Yakimov is a solid performer, in his right grade, as is Ile Michel, and it is the latter in receipt of 3lbs off Yakimov, who gets the vote. Lady Herris has been patient with Ile Michel, whom former B.B.C racing presenter Julian Wilson has a share in. The six-year-old has already won his fare share this term having picked up three minor contests in the spring and he hasn't been disgraced in better events since, including when just losing out to Master Robbie, on unfavourable terms at Warwick last month. No shortage of dangers including Yakimov, who can be relied upon to run his usual game race. Another of interest is Juste Pour L'Amour, who ran a sound race from the "wrong" side at Newmarket earlier this month behind Grand Passion. A reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Just A Martian comes from a stable in cracking form and looks sure to run his race, while Sri Diamond could be absolutely anything. Mister Arjay is relatively unexposed, but does need to find something to trouble the best of these, so all things considered, the old man of the party Ile Michel is taken to give his younger rivals a lesson.
