Verdict

Berkshire Phantom missed out on a hat-trick when beaten at Wolverhampton under Oisin Murphy. The latter partnered Little Edi when winning a lower grade contest over track and trip last month but several have more scope including GOLDEN PASSPORT (NAP). Ed Walker’s charge didn’t quite see out the mile trip last time having scored over today’s distance at Wolverhampton before that and makes his handicap debut with William Buick on board. Restrict won a maiden over 6f recently while both Kitai and Lakota Blue were beaten in pattern races when last in action and make more appeal than Gulmarg.
