Lacan was claimed out of Ralph Beckett's yard after scoring at Wolverhampton and acts on any surface as he's won here in the past. GOSSIPING (NAP) is improving at a rate of knots and had The Warrior and Alejandro in the places when gaining his third victory from his last four starts here last week. The latter pair are slightly better off but the winner won with something in hand and can confirm the form. Ballard Down won here in December 2015 and has very little racing subsequently. He has a long absence to overcome but is one to keep an eye on for the future.
