In depth

Verdict

Chapter And Verse should finish closer back in this lower grade. There's not much between him and Karam Albaari on running at Lingfield, although the latter has also finished behind First Post since then. Noble Protector went close over track and trip in October and is less exposed than Certavi, who is upped 6lb for his win over 1m4f here at the end of last year. COMMISSAR ran well in a tougher contest at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago and it's Ian Williams' charge that gets a tentative vote to resume winning ways dropped in class today.
