COPPER KING can only be the most hopeful of selections in a handicap where the fourteen runners are only separated by 2lbs. Franksalot and Play Up Pompey are two other names to conjure with. The nomination has been off the track for a little while and was in dismal form when last seen but that dismal run of form has resulted in his handicap mark plummeting and, as he has run well fresh in the past, now may be the time to catch Copper King. Play Up Pompey has done all of his winning over further but he looks capable of running into the frame today if everything falls right. Franksalot's connections have been switching between blinkers and cheekpieces to some effect and he's another capable of having a say in the outcome. King Of The Beers is on a fair mark and considered with Atzeni aboard and Moorside Diamond is another that we'd like to have onside in a tricky affair but it's to Copper King that we'll look to for the winner.
