The next race on the Kempton card is another maiden and Richard Fahey's FAIRY SHOES should prove best ahead of Vanilla Rum and Island Rhapsody. The Fahey horse ran a cracker on debut when just touched off very late in a Pontefract maiden. Fairy Shoes drifted badly on course that day suggesting she would come on a ton for the run. The fact that she ran so well is a very encouraging sign and with the yard in such good heart she should go close today. Vanilla Rum is from a good sprinting yard and showed definite ability at two. He is just the horse to make up in to a decent sprint handicapper for the Candy yard but may be good enough to take this. His form at two was quite decent and some of it has been franked this year already. So if fit could go very close. Island Rhapsody is from a top and ran in a very decent maiden on debut on this course. The drop in trip I s not certain to suit but the yard surely know what their doing. Eddie Ahearn is an eye catching booking for Major Eradicator and if the money came for him he would be interesting.
