made all, clear final 2f, ridden over 1f out, kept on strongly, unchallenged
chased leading pair on inside, pushed along 3f out, ridden hung right and weakened over 2f out
chased winner, ridden and no impression approaching final 2f, weakened into 3rd inside final furlong
held up 4th, headway on outside 3f out, ridden chasing leading pair over 2f out, 2nd inside final furlong, no chance with unchallenged winner
All four of these won their latest starts with Gleaming beating Waaleef in a Class 5 event here last month. The latter has subsequently won but has been raised 10lb for that success. Showtime Blues is the least exposed and may well go close having returned the easy winner of a maiden race over 7f here on his latest start. But GREATEST JOURNEY has the form in the book, completing a hat-trick with a win at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day. Saeed Bin Suroor's charge has a hike in the weights to contend with but scored with plenty in hand last time and there should be more to come.
