        In depth

        Verdict

        Hurricane Alert went close over 5f at Lingfield in between a couple of modest efforts and there was little separating Trikasana and Beach Plaza when they finished down the field over 7f here last time. Sinema and Sammy's Choice are likely improvers but given the distinctly ordinary form of those with experience, a newcomer would not need to be anything special to land this. Leith Bridge makes little appeal on breeding but ERNEST is the first foal of a Listed winner on the all-weather and Robert Cowell's charge gets a speculative vote on his debut.
