Verdict

Tiffin Top is making hard work of losing his maiden tag and found one too good here last time but El Borracho went close over track and trip recently when finishing in front of Morning Skye. Volcanic Sky has won over further at Chelmsford but was beaten off today’s mark at the latter venue on his latest start while Envoy came up short at Chester having scored at Windsor back in April. Testing going looked a legitimate excuse for GIVING GLANCES (NAP) finding little in the closing stages at Goodwood, though he still finished second. He’d landed a double before that ,including a win on the Polytrack at Lingfield, and Alan King’s charge gets another chance today.
