Fajr has won his last two starts, both in handicaps, in good fashion but a 7lb rise for the latest success of those leaves Gay Kelleway's gelding with more to do and preference is for Farewell Gift, with Arctic Desert rated the best of the remainder. The selection has plenty of weight but has held his form well of late and remains feasibly well treated. Raza Cab escapes a penalty for his win in a claimer at Lingfield last time but this looks tougher, while Arctic Desert has solid claims on the form shown when beating Glad Big at Lingfield in January but has disappointed since then. Burhaan is probably best watched on his first start since leaving the yard of John Gosden. Sawwaah lacks a recent run and may be best watched, while Blue Empire needs to improve on recent evidence to trouble the judge. Phluke faces no easy task from a difficult looking draw on his return and preference is for the consistent Farewell Gift, who is taken to gain a deserved success.
