The Michael Jarvis-trained Virgin Islands, a son of Sadlers Wells, takes the eye on pedigree and could be of interest on his debut but Awatuki has some solid looking form in the book and gets the vote ahead of Mirth. The last mentioned stepped up on his debut effort when a creditable fourth at Leicester when last seen and has to be considered with the Hannon yard having had a couple of winners recently. Dragon Dancer is bred to want further and is probably best watched while both Coda Agency and Gaelic Games need to improve on all know evidence. The vote then goes to Awatuki, who ran promisingly first time out as a juvenile and showed improved form when chasing home Chris Corsa at Newcastle when last seen in August. A reproduction of that latest effort should suffice.
