Kauto Star can confirm his supremacy at the top of the chasing tree with My Way De Solzen and Exotic Dancer likely to be the most obvious dangers. Talk of the champion's demise proved premature after his eclipse at Haydock by Monet's Garden but Kauto Star was back in business at Haydock Park last time out and should barring accidents be up to completing back-to-back successes in this contest. Exotic Dancer had every chance of getting by on that occasion. However, his yard are not in the greatest of form and its difficult to see where the necessary improvement can come from. My Way De Solzen has a little to prove on the Haydock race. It could be that he needed the race and Alan King has said that more can be anticipated here. Taranis has been backed in recent days. The form book says he has a bit to find but he is still progressive. Hi Cloy does not win often while Our Vic takes a massive step up in grade. Racing Demon is almost the forgotten horse these days. His warm up for this consisted of no more than an effective exercise canter in the Peterborough Chase. Kauto Star is the best chaser in Britain at the moment and we believe he can confirm his superiority again come Boxing Day.
