In depth

Verdict

ROCK STEADY was beaten less than a length over 1m3f here recently when ahead of Fashion Parade. Roger Charlton’s charge gets another chance in this and is just preferred to Red Rannagh. The latter was also placed over 1m3f at the track last month and can race off the same mark today. Most of the remainder are looking to put below par efforts behind them including Newcastle maiden winner Loveable Helen, well beaten at Goodwood last time, while Maestro Mac and Duck A L'orange were both placed in this grade over 1m4f on their penultimate starts.
