The Cool Sandpiper is given a narrow vote in a wide open finale, Magic Warrior and Pactolos Way could be the best alternatives. Peter Winkworth's charge is relatively lightly raced and has shown plenty of ability. His close up fifth at Linghfield behind Shaded Edge looks solid enough in the context of this event and he looks the best option. Magic Warrior hasn't done too badly recently and has dropped down to a very lenient mark, he should be capable of reaching the places. Pactolus Way has been running well enough over longer trips to suggest he can also play a part in the finish. The pick of the others could be Scarlet Knight, but The Coolsandpiper has more scope for improvement than most of these and just gets the verdict.
