In depth

Verdict

John Fahy's 3lb claim could make CRINAN CLASSIC an attractive proposition on his handicap debut. Too backward to do himself justice in a couple of runs last year, he caught the eye when fourth on his reappearance over a mile at Lingfield last month and probably has more to offer. Sirjosh is more exposed and was beaten in a claimer over C&D last time while Valmina struggles to get home over this trip. West Leake and Cut And Thrust are both C&D winners and can't be ignored, however, while Katmai River won at Wolverhampton eight days ago though is 4lb higher now.
