A winner over fences in Ireland last year, STATISTICAL was pulled up over hurdles at Wincanton on his debut for Emma Lavelle’s yard. Rested since, he gets another chance back over the larger obstacles today. Kilcara ran well at Warwick on his first outing over fences before fading in the closing stages and has undergone wind surgery since. He’s preferred to point-to-point winner Rendezvous Peak, who was already beaten when falling at Fontwell on last month’s debut under Rules and was due to run at the latter track yesterday.
