JOUNCE is taken to make a winning return to action with Miss Miracle and Carioca amongst the likely dangers. The selection represents a powerful yard and showed plenty of promise on her sole run as a juvenile at Wolverhampton. She was outpaced at a crucial stage and wasn't given too hard a time but ran on well enough to split two more experienced rivals. She's well related and should have little trouble winning her maiden provided that she's trained on. Miss Miracle finished nearer first than last in two runs at Newmarket and merits respect with her yard having made a good start to the season but this half-sister to Katchit may need a stiffer test before too long and it will be interesting to see what the market makes of her chance. Carioca failed to reproduce the form of her debut run when last seen but she shaped with plenty of promise first time out and is held in high regard and it would be no surprise to see her give a good account. A cautionary market check is advised but this should go to Jounce.
