Verdict
SCRIPTWRITER represents last year’s winning yard and is the clear form pick of these on the evidence so far. He beat Perseus Way in this grade at Cheltenham in November and went down with all guns blazing in the Triumph Trial at the same track last month when the going was probably softer than ideal. Perseus Way had The Churchill Lad and Spartan Army behind when third in the Finale at Chepstow in December and beat a subsequent winner later at Huntingdon so is no mug. Sarsons Risk and Rare Middleton both made winning debuts and have plenty of scope while Nusret will provide a good comparison to the Irish juveniles. Pawapuri must be well regarded to make her debut in this grade but her lack of experience could be an issue.
