    Verdict

MISS FRANGIPANE is not exactly an original selection but Jeremy Noseda's filly looks to be on a fair mark here; the shortlist of dangers is headed by Fault. The selection comes here on the back of a solid effort in defeat on her handicap bow. Her third at Lingfield suggests that she can win races off this mark and with the drop back in trip in her favour she is fancied to get back to winning ways. Fault is well drawn in stall 11 and Stef Liddiard's Bahamian Bounty colt should show up well following a series of consistent efforts in claiming company. He is a course winner, however this six furlong trip may just stretch him too much. Raimond Ridge is a course and distance winner and is one of the more consistent in the race. Caledonia Princess is edging down to an attractive mark so the market needs watching for a shrewd outfit, Sutton Veny takes a drop in class and may appreciate this easier surface than the quick ground she has encountered recently, whilst Quasi Congaree has a poor strike-rate but ran well in defeat at Lingfield earlier this month. Diddums has been beaten by a total of 25 lengths on his latest two runs, whilst Tikka Marsala has not been too hot of late and now tries a visor. The dropping in grade White Shift is another to consider strongly given some of her early season form, however in a competitive finale it is bottom-weight Miss Frangipane who gets the nomination.
