Generous Day has failed to figure since winning last year’s renewal though is back on a winning mark and having his second outing after wind surgery. The latter comment also applies to Getareason, third at Sandown on his debut for Paul Nicholls’ yard and preferred to topweight Templepark. The latter failed to cope with a hike in the weights last time having won at Warwick before that while LOCK’S CORNER (NAP) found one too good at Cheltenham raised 10lb for an earlier success at Bangor. But Jonjo O’Neill’s progressive charge drops back down in class for this and looks worth another chance at this level. Psychedelic Rock is not badly treated on his best form and makes most appeal of the rest.
