Verdict

Bartholomew J won over 1m6f at Chelmsford earlier while Confils was scoring over 1m2f last year but hasn’t raced since last summer. Employer is not badly treated but has just the one win in 24 attempts while Crimson King struggled last time having beaten Double Legend when scoring over 1m4f here earlier. Several are still looking for a first win including Peckinpah, Craneur and FRANCISCO BAY but the latter has the advantage of a recent outing at Newbury and looks to have an easier task today having slipped a further 2lb down the weights.
