    Verdict

The Godolphin newcomer La Pelosa cost 280,000gns at last month’s sales while Chaleur represents last year’s winning yard. Atwaar is a half-sister to a winner over 6f and all three of the above are worth a second glance in the betting. But it could pay to stick with MERSEY, who went close in testing ground at Salisbury on last month’s debut despite failing to settle in the early stages - Richard Hannon’s filly gets the vote on this faster surface with that experience under her belt.
