    Verdict

HAVISHAM looks the one to beat on his reappearance. He was competing in tough, stayers handicaps for the most part last year and this is his for the taking if running anywhere near his handicap mark of 83 despite giving plenty of weight to the three-year-olds. Howardian Hills may prove best of that group after a fourth at Lingfield but October Storm is bred to appreciate the longer trip on his return to action. Forecast also has his first start of the year for new connections having ran well at Longchamp back in May but the remainder are hard to fancy.
