Selkie's Friend was easy to back on his debut at Newmarket in July but came with a wet sail to beat more experienced rivals. He's potentially well treated here if handling the surface and returning fit following a break while course winner My Son Max arrives off the back of an excellent third at Newmarket and a win over 5f at Wolverhampton, though has struggled to get home over this trip in the past. In four runs on the Polytrack, JACK OF DIAMONDS has yet to finish out of the first two. He also produced an excellent effort over the distance on the Fibresand last time and can go one better here. Prime Exhibit is only 3lb higher than when successful over C&D a month ago but isn't the most consistent while Bank On Me is better at Lingfield. Light Burst's winning run came to an end at Wolverhampton on Monday and this may come too soon.
