MATRAVERS (NAP) found this surface very much to his liking earlier in the month when coming with a smooth run to collar Cape Summit and favourite Windi Citi. This is a step up in grade but Sir Michael Stoute's late-developing colt should be up to the task. Bombardment won here last month and was then third at Newmarket. He is a threat as he's better handicapped on the all-weather at present while Messila Star has now won twice on the Polytrack after last month's course and distance victory. Orion's Bow and Tides Reach could also feature in a competitive finale while Ogbourne Downs has won in a higher grade this year.
