        Verdict

        Arrowtown is out of the same dam as all-weather record-holder Stand Guard but is likely to need further than this. Forest Maiden, Politico and Vallemi all represent powerful Newmarket stables while William Haggas saddled last year's winner and will be expecting Skylight to improve markedly on her first run at Chepstow. Gleaming Girl may be improving but MYSTIC JADE appears to set a very fair standard on her two runs at Goodwood and Richard Hannon's filly can make it third time lucky today.
