Lara Falana looks well treated here and can get back to winning ways, with Blazing The Trail, Icannshift and Bluegrass Boy the main dangers. The selection was a course and distance winner at this meeting a year ago from a mark of 69 and runs here from 3lb lower on her first turf start since September. She acts well on good to firm and has been given a break after three polytrack outings in March, and looks primed up for a repeat success under Richard Quinn. Blazing The Trail concedes 1lb to the selection but was a little flattered by his close proximity to Pure Mischief at Nottingham last time. He would prefer to have cut in the ground too, and with conditions against him he is opposed. Icannshift is another who would prefer to be running on softer ground. A specialist at this trip, Simon Dow's gelding is a consistent sort and we can expect another good effort here. Of the others Bluegrass Boy stayed on well over 10 furlongs at Bath last time after a four month absence. He looked like he needed that and will strip fitter here, and having run well over course and distance off a 2lb lower mark last year he is entitled to go close. For the winner though, Lara Falana gets a fairly confident vote.
