Verdict
Combustible Lady is heading in the right direction but appears to have a mountain to climb at the weights as she steps up in grade. Cloudy Spirit may need another run to put her straight after finishing tailed off on the Flat last month but Whoops A Daisy's second to Alasi over a shorter trip at Wetherby should have blown away any cobwebs and Violin Davis was always going well when easing to a comfortable success in a handicap over 2m6f at Wincanton. The vote, however, goes to proven stayer ELYAADI who has run well in very decent company on the Flat this year and didn't do a lot wrong over an inadequate trip back over hurdles at Punchestown.
