The evergreen Island House looks the one to be with. Geoff Wragg's seven-year-old seems to have been around forever, but he is tough and genuine and while this trip could well be on the sharp side for him nowadays, he is the one to beat. He holds Parasol on their meeting in a similar contest at Newmarket last year and while Parasol has obviously improved in the meantime, he still looks to have something to find. Nysean may find the ground too fast for him, while Bourgainville's third in the Lincoln, doesn't look good enough at this level. Tamiami Trail has gone over two years without getting his head in front and looks to have something to prove now, while Rainbow End looks outclassed. The lightly raced Tikku is respected, as is Rawyaan, who always looked likely to make up into a better four-year-old. However, Island House sets the standard and he will be hard to beat.
