        Verdict

        Higher Court has completed a track and trip hat-trick though all in Class 5 company. He's now 5lb higher and the assessor may have him. Little Palaver hasn't run since August but has run three times on Polytrack and won twice so he's respected as is Lightning Charlie. He's another coming here following a break but he has three all-weather victories to his credit and is just 1lb higher than when landing a Class 3 handicap at Ascot in July. DOC SPORTELLO has gradually dropped to a mark he's capable of winning from as he showed when staying on over the minimum at Newcastle last time. He's handed the vote though the lightly-raced Karijini just failed in her hat-trick bid on the same track and looks certain to go well back on Polytrack.
