      Verdict

      Native Appeal failed to land the odds over this trip at Lingfield last month having only finished second in a three-runner race over a mile here earlier. He looks vulnerable again facing the less-exposed CULPABILITY, who improved significantly on his debut to beat another Godolphin runner, Tabernas, at Chelmsford – there should be more to come. Guvenor's Choice has won twice on Tapeta at Wolverhampton but is conceding weight, tries a new trip and is already having the seventh race of his career. Strictly Magic’s dam was a sprinter so this might be too far for David Simcock’s newcomer.
