After a promising debut at Newbury, AFRICAN BEAT landed a Wolverhampton maiden before finishing fourth in a nursery here last month where she started slowly from her wide draw. She was outpaced in the closing stages by both Emenem and Quothquan and the former has since boosted the form with a victory over 7f here but John Gosden's filly is better drawn this time and is taken to reverse the places on the revised terms. Spirit Of Belle has gradually improved and makes her nursery debut after a reasonable run in a maiden here in October while Suspect Package came from off the pace to finish third at Wolverhampton and should have some improvement in him. Fancy Day found 1m2f too far at Chelmsford and may prove best of the lightweights.
