In depth

Verdict

BAY OF HONOUR faded in the closing stages at Doncaster having still been in contention a furlong out. Improvement is expected here given his yard has won the last two renewals. Dream By Day showed only a modicum of progress at Newbury last time and is fitted with headgear while Wodeton made a promising debut but posted a temperamental display at Salisbury when finished behind fourth-placed Wineglass Bay. Sir Winston is a half-brother to a Listed winner and stablemate Canny Fettle is a full-brother to a winner while Super Lover is related to a Group 3 winner.
