In depth

Verdict

The card is completed with yet another maiden event, that appears to be very open indeed. Line Drawing has had plenty of chances but tends to find one or two superior, it may be the same scenario again as we select Namat to land first prize from Neath. Marcus Tregoning's filly made a very pleasing debut in an above average maiden at Redcar earlier this month, finishing runner up to Focus Group. She is certain to improve for that effort, and on breeding should be more at home over this extra three furlongs. Neath is progressing nicely and finished a good third behind Maraakeb at Sandown last time, he will appreciate this extra distance today. To be fair to Line Drawing he has been unlucky to come up against some decent horses. However it does slightly put you off when you see a a list of five placings, so we will leave this one alone and give the vote to Namat.
