MAGIC CASEMENT makes most appeal ahead of Eucharist and Belle Bayardo. The only interest on the card for Dandy and Adrian Nicholls, Magic Casement won well on debut, and the yard and jockey have reaped dividends of late with a single runner a long way from home. A son of Proclamation, he's already been gelded, and is expected to be ridden prominently. Eucharist has a big pull in the weights with Belle Bayardo, considering she's rated four pounds higher than Ron Harris' charge, but the latter's in tremendous form, chasing a hat-trick. The strength in depth of those two previous races could be questioned, but he could only beat what was alongside him. The way he ran suggested the step up to six furlongs won't inconvenience. Eucharist won a Sandown maiden, and was third on the Wolverhampton polytrack in a better race than this. King Of The Desert is the one newcomer. He's well related, but he could be absolutely anything, and the yard haven't been banging out the two year old winners this season. Whoateallthepius has a considerable weight advantage over all bar Shesanindian, and has the best of the draw. Whether there's much advantage in a small field remains to be seen. It's certainly competitive, but preference is for Magic Casement.
