Willie Musson and Stevie Donohoe have a chance of completing a treble here with Broughtons Bandit, though he tackles the trip for the first time. He's been staying on over shorter in his recent starts so the distance shouldn't be a problem nor will it be to the only C&D winner in the field, Prince Charlemagne, though he's run very poorly on his last two starts. Captain Sharpe has never won on the level but has a victory over hurdles to his credit and can get involved while Bengal Tiger did better when stepped up to 1m4f here last time and hasn't had too much racing. HAMILTON HILL has had even less experience but looked a staying handicapper to follow when scoring over 1m6f at Yarmouth in October and hopefully he'll be fit enough to take this on his return from what could turn out to be a very lowly mark.
