Bear Force One was allowed his own way in front and won easily at Newbury in September. But the handicapper has taken no chances raising him 11lb and he’s also upped in class and distance for this. Dual novice winner Montatham found one too good in Class 2 company at Musselburgh last time but also has something to prove over the trip and another chance goes to OUZO (NAP). The latter was having his first outing since landing a hat-trick in June when tiring close home in the soft going at Newmarket recently but Richard Hannon’s charge will be sharper today and can return to winning ways. Pinnata ran well in an optional claimer here last time but Glenn Coco has proved best over 7f so far and Gentle Look is high enough in the weights while Samphire Coast is upped in class.
