Verdict

A winner on Polytrack early this year, CAPTAIN CAT (NAP) has subsequently won a couple of Group 3 contests and wasn't disgraced in the Group 1 QE11 at Ascot last month. He's the one to beat in this grade. Graphic was below par in the same race at Ascot last time but is useful on his day, as is Eton Forever, but Ocean Tempest has something to find with the selection on earlier running. Baltic Knight finished ahead of the latter and Emell when fifth at Newmarket earlier this month and Tenor ran well in the Cambridgeshire having landed a Listed race at Sandown before that. Frankie renews acquaintance with the lightly-raced Sloane Avenue, who found Grade 3 company beyond him on a trip to Belmont last month.
