      Verdict

Ryan Moore's presence will ensure MAINSTAY is the favourite though Piccolo Mondo and Penzena have racecourse experience in their favour this afternoon. The sister to Lateen Sails has clearly had a couple of issues that have prevented her reaching the racecourse prior to now but were she to have any of that level of ability; this maiden really should be there for the taking. Piccolo Mondo has placed on four occasions though has yet to completely convince on a right handed track. Penzena has been absent from the track for a while but will be having her first run for Andrew Balding having left William Knight. West Kirk faced a tough task in a claimer last time out though probably ran much better than connections anticipated. Woodland Violet was particularly well backed on her latest visit to the racecourse though only managed to beat fresh air home. With the remainder facing hopeless tasks on official BHA figures, we return to Mainstay albeit at what are likely to be very short odds.
