A poor contest where we'll tentatively suggest CONVALLARIA to get home in front, while Zazous can probably go well again. The selection was a Polytrack winner at Lingfield in the summer from a slightly lower mark, and this trip looks ideal. After a break he blew off the cobwebs over a mile here last month and with the sharpness back and the return to 7f we'll give him the nod. Zazous is up 5lb for winning a similarly poor contest last time out and with inconsistency his byword we won't be rushing to lump on him for the follow up. Scruffy Skip ran too badly to be true on the Fibresand last time but had been in good from previously and the return to this surface might rekindle his enthusiasm. Thabaat has dropped to a dangerously low mark so watch for any market support, while Solicitude has good course form and can get very competitive from a BHA rating of 55. Nevertheless, we'll take Convallaria to come good.
