No Complaint was in good form when last seen in July, winning his last two starts, but Tom George's gelding was all out to win on the latest occasion so he may be best watched here and a better bet may be PETITJEAN, who gets the vote with Charlies Future rated the best of the rest. The selection has had his jumping problems and lacks a recent run but Philip Hobbs has his team in good form now and, sure to have been well schooled, the eight-year-old looks worth chancing. Brinkmanship has won both starts in novices' chases but Tim Vaughan's gelding does not look to be particularly well treated for his first start in a handicap over fences. Charlie Mann has his string in flying form at present so Gaora Lane has to be respected, while Mcevoy is better than he showed at Market Rasen last time but is hard to back with confidence after that start. Charlies Future has a 5lb rise for his narrow success at Exeter last time and that may just anchor him so preference is for Petitjean, who is taken to make a winning return to action.
