    Verdict

OUMEYADE can get back on the winning trail here despite the concern that two miles around here might just be on the sharp side. Southwell specialist Jazz Dance and Sou'wester could be the biggest dangers. The selection has a differing profile to the majority of his stable companions at Ditcheat in that he has been campaigned throughout the summer months, availing of a handicap marks that now look rather comical in hindsight. 2m 4f looks his optimum trip but expect plenty of use to be made of him here. Jazz Dance has scored four times at Southwell. A strong travelling type, he has now been put up another 12lb for that last victory while Sou'wester returns following a profitable spring spell. He has made remarkable progress considering connections claimed him from a seller and has proved in the past that he goes well fresh. Oumeyade is selected to overcome the inconvenience of taking a marked drop in trip.
